As a charitable organization, Salem Welfare Services' source of funds is derived mainly from the generosity of organizations and individuals and through fund raising projects. These funds are used to meet operational costs as well as to provide subsidies for lower income families.

We welcome all who wish to contribute to the care and well being of the elderly in Singapore, to partner with us in donating and supporting us financially, and to participate and join in our fund-raising events.

Past Events

Some of the other past memorable fund raising events include charity dinners in December 2005 and among others: a fun fair in 1999, a charity golf and dinner concert in 2001 & 2004, and a food fare in 2003.

In 2006, we had an Open Day for the Centre and were presented with a donation from Borneo Motors through our district MP for Nee Soon East, Associate Professor Dr Ho Peng Kee, who says the government is looking to create a hospital in the area which we aim to serve in the future where possible.

Looking to a partnership with donors and our local authorities

We are grateful for the continual support from all donors, and also for the generous donations from organizations like Lee Foundation and others whose generosity have contributed to the continued operation of our Centre to serve our elderly in the community, over the years, and as we head toward the future. As we project greater needs of the elderly in the years ahead, we will work to better serve them.
